Alien Invasion

Welcome to Alien Invasion, a little game I made as a computer science student!

How to play:

• Move your spaceship left and right using the arrow keys.
• Shoot by pressing the spacebar.
• Your goal: Destroy all incoming UFOs and and get as high a score as you can.
• Avoid getting hit by UFOs or letting them reach the bottom.
• You have 3 lives shown in the top-left corner of you screen.
• Your current score is shown in the top-right corner of your screen, along with the current round.
• Your high score is displayed at the top center if your screen.
• Press "Q" at any time to exit.

     Bonuses:

• Catch falling bonus spheres for power-ups:
  • Multi-missiles: Ability to fire more missiles at once for 2 seconds.
  • Super-missile: Acquire a missile that is able to shoot through multiple enemies.

As you progress through rounds, the difficulty of the game increases.
